A trustworthy, organized and committed House Manager is sought for two semi-formal residences in Toronto. This is a part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week. The House Manager is required to travel between 2 homes in Toronto. Taking transit is acceptable & schedule is flexible.
Primary Responsibilities of the Employee
-Day to day management of two properties in Toronto
-Maintain high levels of maintenance, efficiency and overall organization to one house and one condominium
-Manage/supervise trades, installations and vendors
-Book & co-ordinate travel
-Run errands and collect groceries
-Respond to household e-mails and provide written communications
-Organize and pay bills & invoices
-Manage petty cash
-Create household inventory lists and source products
-Identify, schedule and manage maintenance needs, repair projects and installations
-Answer the phone/door, greet & supervise trades and guests
-Perform other requests as needed
Job Requirements/Applicant Qualities
-Full G license and clean driving record preferred
-Fluent in English, both verbal and written
-Be highly organized and efficient
-Must have a proven track record of taking initiative
-Trustworthy and reliable
-Willing to maintain high levels of privacy
-Eager to provide high-quality service
-Energetic with a strong work ethic
Salary is commensurate with experience and candidate qualities/capabilities
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
