Overview
Luxe Staff is seeking a professional, proactive, and reliable House Manager to manage the everyday activities of a private residence located in West Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time, permanent, live-out position. You must be flexible in your duties, be motivated while working under limited supervision, and be able to anticipate the needs of your employer. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

-Day-to-day management and supervision of the residences to maintain the highest standards
-Manage internal staff, I.E., Housekeepers, nannies, event staff, chefs, and wine cellar staff
-Manage, source, and supervise trades, installations, and vendors
-Provide basic household bookkeeping and monitor budgets

-Answer to emergencies (e.g., alarm system)
-Manage and monitor all household inventories and deliveries

-Managing the upkeep of vehicles; valeting, service management, and gas management  

-Coordinating the maintenance and preservation of the estate's artworks, antiques, and silverware

-Overseeing the smooth running of hosted events, parties, and dinners

-Greet guests in a professional manner upon their arrival.

-Running errands

-Other duties may be required

Job Requirements
-3+ years of work experience in a similar role

-Intermediate cooking skills are considered an asset
-Ability to anticipate the needs of the family

-Ability to travel with the family for 2-3 months per year
-Excellent communication skills
-Proven track record of being trustworthy, proactive, knowledgeable, responsible, and reliable 
-Have an eye for the fine details
-Clear understanding of the importance of privacy and personal boundaries
-Eager to provide high-quality service
-Energetic with a strong work ethic

-Comfortable around children and pets

 

Certificates/Licenses

-Full Driving license and a clean driving record is required

 

Additional information

-Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM (weekends and evenings may be required) 

-The family's 2nd residence is located in Whistler, BC

-Vehicle to use for work duties

 

Salary
-Up-to $100,000 USD Annually. Salary is commensurate with experience and candidate qualities/capabilities
