Overview
Luxe Staff seeking a talented and experienced part-time Private Teach or Tutor for a client in the Bridal Path Area in Toronto, ON.  This is a permanent, live-out role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, possess exceptional educational skills, and have previous experience teaching in private schools. High standards of knowledge and delivery are expected. The child is in JK and all teaching materials will be provided.
 

Primary Responsibilities of the Employee
 

  • Plan and prepare weekly/monthly learning plans

  • Educate child on subjects such as English, music, arts and crafts, reading, writing and numbers

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment

  • Make purchase lists for resources as needed

  • Maintain and track learning development

  • Provide feedback to parents when requested


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience as a teacher in a private school or as a private teacher/tutor preparing children to go to private school

  • Certified from Ontario College of Teachers or equivalent 

  • Exceptional knowledge of various education practices

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
     

Certificates/Licenses

  • Drivers License is a plus

  • Certified Ontario College of Teachers

  • Teaching degree 
     

Additional Information
Schedule is between Monday-Friday 4 to 5 days a weekly, approximately 20 hours. They are thinking a few hours in the afternoon, but are open to discussing further.
No visa sponsorship available. 


Salary
$40-50 per hour. Commensurate on experience.

Start Date
As soon as possible.
